Scrabble Hasbro is selling like crazy as it celebrates 87 years of business.
Scrabble
The included Scrabble rules offer suggestions for exciting variations on the traditional game. Luck of the drawIf a player doesn't like the letters drawn, Scrabble rules allow him or her to return the letters to the bag and draw 7 new letters. Play with a purposeIt's fun to win, but Scrabble also helps to promote educational concepts like spelling and language, and each round of scoring reinforces counting and math skills for kids.
Hasbro
The name Scrabble is a trademark of Hasbro, Inc in the United States and Canada and of Mattel elsewhere. The company shortened its name to Hasbro Industries in 1968. The company acquired the Milton Bradley Company in 1984, bringing The Game of Life, Candy Land, Twister, Chutes and Ladders and Yahtzee into the Hasbro fold, and found continued success in 1984 with the release of the first Transformers toys. Europe will not see the new Scrabble games, as the license outside of North America is held by Mattel and not Hasbro.
